HARRISONVILLE, Mo. (AP) — A western Missouri man has been found not guilty in a 2014 fatal shooting at a Cass County cemetery.

A Cass County jury on Friday acquitted Tyler Smallwood of Peculiar in the June 2014 death of 25-year-old Forrest Fuller.

The Kansas City Star reports that Smallwood was 18 when he was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the case, which was investigated by the Kansas City Metro Squad and included 30 investigators from 14 agencies.

Fuller, of Cass County, was found shot to death at a rural cemetery in rural Peculiar, which is about 30 miles south of Kansas City.
