More than a dozen people were arrested after a checkpoint Saturday in Platte County

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office said the DWI checkpoint was held on MO 45 Highway and Main Street in Farley. They checked 638 vehicles from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

A total of 15 arrests were made. Five arrests were made on suspicion of DWI, three arrests for driving while suspended/revoked, three arrests were made for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, two arrests were made for minor in possession of liquor, and there were two additional arrests for drug offenses.
