Dozens of you in St. Joseph joined a national effort to set a world record for the most people “hula hooping at multiple venues simultaneously.”

The event, along with a free ice cream social, was organized by the Natural Grocers national office.

Hula Hoop enthusiasts of all ages took part at more than 100 stores across the country, using Facebook Live to share the event at 5:45 p.m. central time.

The world record has not yet been confirmed, according to officials with Natural Grocers. Guiness World Records has not yet returned our call for commentl.
