It takes a lot of volunteers to put on the Trails West! festival every year.

Jolene Dempster has been a member of the festival’s volunteer committee for the last five years, and this year chairs the committee. We caught up with Jolene for this video interview at the volunteer check-in table just outside the fence that marks the festival grounds.

She tells us it takes hundreds of people to get the job done.

Dempster says they’re hoping to get more groups to sponsor events during Trails West!, as the Boy Scouts and Remington Nature Center are this year.
