A St. Joseph man was seriously hurt in a head-on crash between two semis in Atchison County, Missouri Thursday afternoon.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Levi Johnson was driving along Route-N south of US-136 highway when he turned left in front of another tractor-trailer.

Johnson suffered serious injuries in the head-on crash. He was transported to Mosaic Life Care, but a nursing supervisor says Johnson was later transferred to another hospital.

The other driver, Thomas Hurst of Tarkio, Mo., was not injured in the crash.
