Three hurt in crash west of Cameron

MSHP patchThree people including two children were injured in a single-vehicle crash along U.S. 36 highway west of Cameron Saturday morning.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Davelle Gilbert lost control of her SUV at about 8:35 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle went into the median where it overturned onto the driver’s side. The 48-year-old Cameron woman suffered what were described as moderate injuries.

Two kids were also in the car. 11-year-old Sidney and nine-year-old Sophia Gilbert suffered minor injuries.

All three were transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
