A Spickard, Missouri man escaped with minor injuries after a rollover crash in Mercer County in which he was ejected.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Dan Johnson, 54, lost control of his pickup in a standing water puddle along Route-A south of Modena at 1:35 p.m.

The truck skidded off the road, hit an embankment and overturned one time, ejecting Johnson. The vehicle came to rest on top of a fence.

Johnson refused medical treatment at the scene. The truck was a total loss.
