Two people were killed in a head-on crash in Nodaway County Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report identifies the victims as 47-year-old Kristy Lake of Maryville and 83-year-old Thomas Strueby of Conception Junction.

Investigators say Lake’s vehicle crossed the center line along Route F two miles east of Maryville shortly before 4:30 pm Wednesday and crashed into Strueby’s car.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
