The public swimming schedule and swimming lesson information was released Wednesday for the new Thomas Eagleton Indoor Pool at the Looney Complex at Missouri Western.

Through December 16, 2016, lap swimming sessions will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30-7:45 a.m., noon-3:00 p.m., and 7:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Open swimming sessions will be available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Single admission tickets can be obtained on a cash only basis at $4.00 for regular admission (ages 9 and up) and $3.00 for Junior Admission (8 and under). Punch cards may also be purchased online from www.stjoeparks.info. A 10 punch regular admission card is $37.00 and a 10 punch junior admission card is $27.00. A 25 punch regular admission card is $90.00 and a 25 punch junior card is $65.00. Please allow up to 24 hours for MWSU Thomas Eagleton Indoor Pool employees to process your card.

Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older and be directly supervised at all times, regardless of their swimming ability. Proper swim attire is required. A limited amount of locker space is available for daily use only. Punch cards may be shared if the age requirements are met for each card. The punch cards are non-refundable, no refund or credit will be issued for unused cards and they expire on August 31, 2017. These cards may not be used at any other facility.

The pool is closed on Sundays and will be closed on Monday, September 5; Saturday, September 17; Saturday, October 15; and November 20-27.

Swimming lessons for October and November are scheduled for preschool (4-5 year olds only), Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 (ages 6 & older). Registration for swim lessons is $30.00 can be completed by navigating to www.stjoeparks.info, or registering in person at 1920 Grand Avenue.
