The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a man sought for questioning regarding numerous vehicle thefts.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, there were three motor vehicle thefts and numerous thefts from autos in the rural Southern Platte County, Parkville, and Weatherby Lake areas. The male subject in the photos was driving one of the stolen autos when he used a stolen credit card to purchase gasoline in Platte Woods on Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. Stolen credit cards have also been used in Kansas City, Kansas. At this time, all three stolen vehicles have been recovered in Southern Platte County.

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office said they believe multiple thefts from autos that occurred during the same time frame may be related to this individual and others.
