The St. Joseph Police Department in conjunction with the Northwest Missouri DWI Task Force conducted a sobriety checkpoint Saturday, Sept. 10, on Hwy 36 westbound at 28th street.

According to a news release, a total of 556 vehicles were checked, resulting in three Driving While Intoxicated arrests, seven Suspended/Revoked License arrests, seven No Operator’s License summons issued, and one City Warrant arrest.
