Officials with the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska say their annual Pow Wow scheduled in White Cloud, Kansas this weekend has been postponed.

Heavy rain has made the ground too wet and some of the roads in the area were closed by high water. According to one comment on the tribe’s Facebook page, the powwow grounds were under water Wednesday morning, with more rain expected.

The Pow Wow has been rescheduled October 8-9.
