Two arrested in child abuse investigation


Two Wheeling, Missouri residents have been arrested and charged with abuse or neglect of a child.

Livingston County Sheriff Steve cox says in a news release that his office served a seach warrant at a location in Wheeling for “certain evidence related to a child abuse or neglect investigation.” There they arrested Brandi Charlene Rogers, 29, of Wheeling. Bail was set at $5,000

Cox says that on the same day they served an arrest warrant on Deven Paul Rose, 25, Wheeling.

Both are charged with one class-C felony count of Abuse or Neglect of a Child. Bail was set at $5,000 for each suspect.

Both Ms. Rogers and Mr. Rose were transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond and both appeared before the Honorable James P. Valbracht on September 21.
