A Rosendale woman was injured on Sunday evening after running her vehicle off the road trying to dodge a deer in the roadway in southern Andrew County.

Her vehicle left the roadway and hit an embankment along County Road 198 south of County Road 207 at about 5:40 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Jacque Ellis was treated a Mosaic Life Care for moderate injuries after the crash.
