Two men were arrested this week in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation.

Captain Jeff Wilson of the St. Joseph Police Department says officers were dispatched to the 700 block of South 18th on September 28.

Police recovered a stolen truck at the scene, and after a short foot chase Wilson says the officers arrested Roger Merritt and Austin Parks, both 24 years old.

Merrit had an active probation and parole warrant. Parks was charged with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle. Bail was set at $10,000. He’s scheduled to appear in court October 4.
