A Kansas City woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Clinton County Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Lisa Dowell lost control of her vehicle along I-35 northeast of Lathrop just before 3pm Monday.

The car hit the guardrail and went down an embankment.

Dowell, 50, was transported to North Kansas City Hospital.
