A crash in Mercer County killed a Humphreys woman Sunday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Courtney D. Bain was traveling west on Route E, four miles southeast of Princeton around 4 p.m., when her Dodge Ram went off the north side of the road. Bain overcorrected the vehicle, traveled into the eastbound lane, then off the north side of the road, struck an embankment and was ejected. The vehicle came to rest on its top.

Bain was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 4:21 p.m. According to the crash report, she was not wearing a seat belt.
