A St. Joe man was sentenced for having sex with an 11-year-old girl.

Gordon Stone II was convicted by a Buchanan County Circuit Court jury August 24 on one count of 1st degree statutory rape.

On Monday, Circuit Judge Patrick Robb sentenced Stone to 30 years in prison. He must serve 85% of that sentence before he gets his first parole hearing.
