A single vehicle crash in Andrew County Saturday sent two teenage brothers from St. Joseph to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Zakery Clayton was driving along U.S. Highway 169 two miles north or Rochester shortly after noon Saturday when he lost control of his pickup. Investigators say the truck left the roadway and hit a ditch.

According to the crash report, Clayton suffered minor injuries. His passenger, identified in the crash report as his brother Jacob Clayton, 19, suffered serious injuries.

Both were taken to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.
