Three people are in custody after deputies responded to a call of an assault/disturbance Sunday night in Buchanan County.

Sheriff-Elect Bill Puett said deputies responded to the 1000 block of S.E. Moore Road around 9:35 p.m. to a vehicle in the middle of the roadway.  A caller reported hearing yelling and a gun discharge.  However, Puett said no weapon was located and no one was shot.

Two out of the three men allegedly involved in the incident were transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment then released to the sheriff’s office.  All three were believed to be related and traveling in the same vehicle. Puett said cases on each of them are being submitted to the prosecutor’s office for consideration of charges.
