
WHITESVILLE, Mo. – The new Route 48 bridge over the Platte River is now open.
According to a press release, crews from Widel, Inc., and the Missouri Department of Transportation were able to reopen the route Friday morning after a bridge replacement project. The bridge has been closed since June 6, 2016.
Some work off the driving surface may still occur, construction vehicles may still be present and workers may be working close to the roadway.
All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
