Cameron inmate, 78, dies of apparent natural causes

A 78-year-old inmate in Cameron died of apparent natural causes Thursday morning.

The Missouri Department of Corrections said Charles White was pronounced dead at the Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron Thursday, Dece. 15, at 5;51 a.m. White, 78, has been serving prison time since February 26, 1982.

He was sentenced to life without parole for 50 years for a capital murder case in Clay County.
