With the stratus deck of clouds moving out overnight areas of dense fog have developed across eastern Kansas and western Missouri early this morning. The fog will clear up later this morning, though sub-freezing surfaces early this morning will likely make for some slick conditions for an hour or two after sunrise till temperatures warm back up. Otherwise, expect warmer temperatures more typical of March than January to prevail today and into the weekend with a chance of rain arriving Sunday. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:
