There was no public viewing area of the building implosion in Overland Park, so Kansas Transportation Officials offered a video of the event Sunday morning. The Van Trust Building was brought down to make room for an office campus called Overland One, at I-435 and Nall Ave., one of the most visible corners of the city.
KDOT Crews imploded the 10-story 162,000 square foot former Century Link building early Sunday morning. The site also included a three-story 56,000 square foot structure that crews demolished in December 2016.
The video and photograph were submitted by KDOT.
