Light snow will be possible today north of a St. Joseph to Moberly line with minor accumulations between a trace to half an inch. Snow will begin this morning and will continue through the day before exiting the area by Midnight tonight. Some slick roads may be possible. Highs across northern Missouri will be in the low to mid 30s, with highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s across central Missouri, eastern Kansas, and the KC Metro. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tonight: A slight chance of snow before 10 p.m., then a slight chance of flurries between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Northwest wind 11 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
