A Hamilton woman was seriously injured in a one vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 4 p.m., 47-year-old Joeanna O. White was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer west on BUS 36, before U.S. 36, one mile west of Hamilton when she failed to negotiate a curve. White’s vehicle went off the road, down an embankment, up another embankment, went airborne, crossed westbound U.S. 36 and traveled through the median. White’s vehicle went airborne again and crossed eastbound U.S. 36 before going off the south side of the road, hitting the ground and rolling several times before coming to rest on its wheels. White was ejected from the driver’s side window.
White was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center then to St. Luke’s on the Plaza with serious injuries.
According to the crash report, she was not wearing a seatbelt.
