ST. JOSEPH – The Missouri Western men’s basketball team (7-13, 3-8 MIAA) could not overcome a cold second half from the three-point arc, falling to #1 Northwest Missouri 74-53 Saturday inside the MWSU Fieldhouse.

NOTABLES
– Missouri Western shot 11.1 percent from three-point in the second half
– Despite a cold second half, the Griffons shot 50 percent from the field
– MWSU outscored NWMSU 10-0 in fast break points
– Northwest Missouri had 23 points off the bench
