(3:23 p.m.) – The St. Joseph Police Department has identified the woman in serious condition after a crash Monday morning on 59 Highway.
Rhonda K. Eagle, 51 has been identified as the woman injured after a crash with a semi shortly before 7:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of memorial highway. Eagle was transported by ambulance for treatment of serious injures.

(9:32 a.m.) – A woman was taken to the hospital after a crash on 59 Highway in St. Joseph.
The 6400 block of Memorial Highway re-opened to travel around 9:40 a.m. The St. Joseph Police Department sent out an alert shortly before 7:30 a.m. regarding the closure.
Capt. Jeff Wilson said a 51-year-old Kansas woman was transported to the hospital in serious condition. Police are still investigating the incident. Wilson said a tractor-trailer was attempting to go northbound on the highway and the victim was southbound on memorial highway when the trailer hit her vehicle. Wilson said the trailer became detached during the crash.

(8:08 a.m.) – The St. Joseph Police Department is urging motorists to avoid the area of 6400 Memorial Highway due to a traffic accident.
The department sent out a Nixle alert shortly before 7:30 a.m. and as of 8 a.m., the area was still closed.
