A 55-year-old St. Joseph man will be sentenced in April for his guilty plea to a charge of 1st-degree child molestation.
Gary Robinson was charged after an incident in June of 2016, in which he sexually abused a six-year-old.
Judge Randall Jackson scheduled sentencing April 20 according to online court records. At the time it was filed, the charge was a class-b felony. Robinson faces a range of punishment of from five to 15 years. Since that time the law changed, and the crime was upgraded to become a class-a felony, which carries a much longer possible sentence.
