A woman was killed in a crash Monday afternoon just two miles north of Polo.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Misty Kaptiza, 36 of Polo was driving at 2012 Dodge Ram northbound on Missouri 13 around 3:30 p.m. in Caldwell County.  Her vehicle went off the west side of the road, hit a culvert and became airborne.  The vehicle rolled over and Kaptiza was ejected. Kapitza was found next to the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

She was not reported to be wearing her seat belt.
