Roxanna Jane DeSpain
1967-2017

unnamedRoxanna Jane DeSpain 49, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Mosaic Life Care Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 12, 1967 in Atchison, KS, daughter of Betty and Alfred DeSpain Sr. She graduated from Benton High School 1986 and was a homemaker. Roxy was a very giving and generous person, who enjoyed traveling, puzzle books and watching the Price Is Right on TV. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Alfred DeSpain Jr. Survivors include, sisters, Betsy DeSpain of the home, and Gloria DeSpain, St. Joseph, MO, two aunts, Goldie Baldwin and Sally Tietz, St. Joseph, MO, as well as numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Rev. Albert Shirley officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Sugar Creek Cemetery . Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.

Carol Jean Frazer
1953-2017

4172268_wlppCarol Jean Frazer 63, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday March 23, 2017 at her home. She was born December 28, 1953 in St. Joseph, Missouri daughter of Mable & Roy Adams. She graduated from high school and worked at St. Joe Transit as a Bus Driver for over 18 years. She enjoyed playing darts and pool, but most especially she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Roy Herman Adams, mother, Mable L. Brown, brother, Gary Adams, and sister, Barbara Jo Adams. She is survived by sons, Ronald (Sheila) Anthony, Jr. of Elwood, KS, Terence (Ciera) Anthony, and Brian (Monique) Frazer of St. Joseph, MO 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and one the way, brothers, Johnny Bert, David, and Jason Adams, sisters, Laura Dittemore, Rosetta Marcell, Trudy Adams, and Penny Adams. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Saturday, with a memorial celebration of life to start at 2:00 Saturday, March 25, 2017. She has been cremated under the care and direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.

Leslie Earl Wilson Jr

unnamedLeslie “Les” Earl Wilson Jr, 53, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center. He was born April 7, 1963 in Long Beach, CA. He attended Lafayette High School, then married Beth Mackey on June 25, 1988. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool & poker, racing video games, and he loved Rock and Roll and Classic Rock Music. He was formerly a member of the Bible Baptist Temple. Les is survived by wife, Beth Wilson of the home, mother, Patricia (Ed) Blackburn of Faucett, MO, son, Caleb Wilson, daughters, Sarah Wilson and Ananiah Wilson, brother, Dwayne Wilson, and sister, Dawn Hafley.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Rupp Chapel, Pastor Jim Mackey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials are requested to the Leslie Wilson Jr. Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.

Terry Alan Angst
1968-2017

unnamedTerry Alan Angst, 49, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at his home. He was born March 9, 1968 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He attended Benton High School, and he worked in the construction industry. He enjoyed collecting watches & mushroom hunting, and spending time with grandkids & family. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Angst, mother, Charlotte Greer, and brother, Teddy Angst. He is survived by daughters, Terra Angst, Haylei Angst, and Sierra (Alva) Maul, grandchildren: Treyten, Tylei, and Khloe, sisters, Jodie (Kent) Barnett, Carla (Gary) Dozier, Judy Cottrill, Christy (Brandon) Sale, and Robin Venable, brothers; Kelly Angst, Jack Greer Jr, and Phillip Greer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Thursday, with a Memorial Service to be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Terry Angst Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
