A checkpoint held the day before April Fools’ in St. Joseph resulted in several arrests.
The St. Joseph Police Department has released the results of a sobriety checkpoint that was a joint operation with the Northwest Missouri DWI Task Force. The five hour-long operation was held Friday in the 1700 block of N. 22nd. Police said during that time 201 vehicles were checked. The results ended in three arrests for DWI, three for outstanding warrants, and five for diver’s license violations.
