However, tonight, a cold front will sweep across the region and is expected to bring rain and thunderstorms, some of which might be strong enough to produce severe weather. Currently, the thunderstorm activity is expected to begin developing around 7 p.m. tonight as the front approaches. Any stormy activity will then slowly shifted east overnight, likely lingering into the daylight hours of Wednesday, leaving the day cool and wet.
