A St. Joseph couple is accused of forging and filling narcotic prescriptions.

Travis Miller 37, and Julie Miller 32 are each charged in Buchanan County with a class D felony of forgery.

According to court documents, Julie works as an LPN for Phoenix Urology where she allegedly stole prescription paper. Investigator Terry White with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department said on April 14 around 11 p.m Julie filled a forged narcotic script for Oxycodone at the Walgreens pharmacy located at 3645 Frederick in her husband Travis’ name. Six days later, White said Travis filled a forged narcotic script for Oxycodone at the same pharmacy in his own name.

White said it is just one of several narcotic scripts that Julie and Travis Miller have stolen, forged and passed at area pharmacies.

Travis is being held in the Buchanan County Jail on $10,000 bond.  Julie has posted $10,000 bail.  Both are due in court Friday for an arraignment.
