Bode’s Quinlin selected as Truman Assistant Principal

(News release) – The St. Joseph School District has selected Landi Quinlin to fill the position of assistant principal at Truman Middle School.

Quinlin is currently serving the St. Joseph School District at Bode Middle School, where she has taught communication arts since August 2014. Quinlin taught at South Holt High School prior to her employment with the St. Joseph School District. Her teaching career began at Raytown South High School in 2000.

Quinlin recently completed her Educational Specialist degree in Education Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University. She holds a master’s degree in Physical Education/Teaching Pedagogy from the University of Central Missouri and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Northwest Missouri State University.

Quinlin will take over for Ashly McGinnis who was recently hired as an assistant principal at Lafayette High School.

The Board of Education approved Quinlin’s employment during executive session on May 8, 2017.
