The St. Joseph School District announced Tuesday morning there will be no classes at Lafayette High School due to a water main break.

Crews are working to contain the break at the intersection of 7th and Highland avenue in St. Joseph.

Highland Avenue is closed from St. Joseph Avenue west to 7th Street until further notice due to significant amounts of water in the road.

As of 5:12 a.m., St Joseph Avenue and Moss and St. Joseph Avenue and Grand are also shut down. Officers are directing traffic in the area.
