The St. Joseph Fire Department is investigating a fire that destroyed a building on the south side of town.

Firefighters responded to a fire Tuesday behind a home in the 200 block of Harvard. A detached shed/garage appears to have been destroyed. As of 12:15 p.m. inspectors were on scene trying to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
