Man held without bail after alleged attack with baseball bat

Chad Allison
A 46-year-old man from Gower is being held without bail, accused of entering a man’s home and attacking him with a baseball bat.

Chad Allison is scheduled to appear before Associate Circuit Judge Keith Marquart on June 2 on one class-d felony count of assault in the second degree.

A probable cause affidavit asserts that Allison entered the home in the 8000 block of U.S. Highway 169 South on the night of May 29.

Buchanan County Deputy Sheriff Dennis Yager says in the court filing that Allison struck the victim multiple times. The victim required treatment for serious injuries including a broken vertebra and broken bones in his left arm.
