A Holt County woman was seriously hurt after falling out of the window of a vehicle Sunday in Clinton County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ruth Lawson, 22 was sitting on the front passenger side door frame with her feet inside the vehicle and her body outside of the window of a Ford Focus driven by Megan McCreath, 25 of Liberty. The report said the vehicle was being driven southbound on Hilltop Drive around 11:15 p.m. when Lawson lost her balance and fell out of the passenger side window and hit her head on the road. She was transported by Holt Fire and Rescue to Liberty Hospital for treatment of what was described as a serious injury.
