That, and allegedly kicking in her back door landed Gary House in jail June 16.
The misdemeanor complaint accuses House of domestic assault in the 4th degree “…by spitting in her face,” knowing that she “…would regard such conduct as offensive.”
According to the probable cause statement, House spit in her face twice, but the woman was able to lock the defendant out of the house for her safety. The affidavit says he then “…kicked the rear door completely off the door frame.”
Court documents say House is currently on parole, and describe him as a “multi state offender and convicted felon.”
House appeared in court Tuesday before Associate Circuit Judge Keith Marquart. The court found the defendant is a danger to the victim and denied the setting of bail. A trial-setting is scheduled July 27 at 4 pm. House said he would apply for a public defender.
