After a warm day today with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s, there will be the chance for a few strong storms tonight. The best chance for these stronger storms will occur north of Interstate 70 in northern Missouri and eastern Kansas. Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. North wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. North northwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light northwest after midnight.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
