Thunderstorms with light to moderate rain will continue this morning across the area. This will only continue or aggravate ongoing flooding across the area as many locations received 4 to 10+ inches of rain over the past two days. Flooding is occurring along many area rivers, creeks, and streams and there have been numerous reports of roads closed due to water over roadways. When travelling in Missouri you can check traveler.modot.org/map for area road closures. If you do encounter water over a roadway, do not try to cross it!
