St. Joseph police say a local cell phone company is experiencing an outage that limits access to 9-1-1. They are urging you to call the Communications Center directly.

Here’s the Nixle alert posted shortly after 10am Sunday:

“Century Link is currently experiencing a 911 outage. If you have an emergency or need the St. Joseph Police Department, please call 816-271-4777 until further notice. ”
