Richard Lee Phillippe
1962-2017
Richard Lee Phillippe 55, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday July 26, 2017 at home. He was born February 1, 1962 in Maryville, Missouri son of the late Emma & Harley Phillippe. He graduated from Stanberry High School Class of 1981, and worked 10 years at Johnson Controls. He was an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing, he also enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, working on cars, and Classic Cars. Richard was preceded in death by parents: brothers, Norvin and Dennis Phillippe. Survivors include: brothers, Charles (Linda), Loren (Marilyn), Guy (Elwanda), Ronald, Jim, George, Tom (Karla), Jerry, Charles (Linda), and Steven (SonOK) Phillippe, sisters, Anna Beach, Dolores (Scott) Darrach, and Julia Wood, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday July 29, 2017 at the Rupp Funeral Home, with a memorial service to begin at 5:00 pm at the Rupp Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Steven Williams
1963-2017
Mark Steven Williams 54, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Mosaic Life Care hospital. He was born March 16, 1963 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Joyce Jean and George Williams. He attended Lafayette High School and owned and operated the Williams Carpet Service. He enjoyed motor cross racing, fishing, and watching football. He was a big Chief’s Fan. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and brother in law, Tommy Turner. Survivors include, sisters, Cathy (Larry) Clinton, Julie Williams (Richard Monical), Leeann Turner, Lori Bussell (Vince Hernandez), Kristi Williams, brother, Roger (Carol) Williams all of St. Joseph, MO.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery.
Mildred Louise Winter
1921-2017
DEATHS….HIAWATHA —- Mildred Louise Winter, born on March 6, 1921, to Chester and Olive (Sawyer) Marshall, passed from this earth on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Two Timbers in Highland, at the age of 96.
She graduated from King City, Missouri High School with the class of 1939. Mildred worked at the Quaker Oaks factory in St. Joseph, MO, for 7 years.
On February 5, 1949, Mildred married Raymen D. Winter in St. Joseph. They settled on the Winter family farm in rural Robinson, Kansas. To this union, came three boys—Michael Ray, Edward Dale, and Alan Wayne.
During Mildred’s life, she was very active in Gideon’s Auxiliary and Rainbo Community Clubs, and Zion UMW. She was active in Bellevue United Methodist Church of Leona, and since 1993, an active member of Zion Methodist Church, northeast of Robinson. Mildred’s favorite past-times were working in her flower garden, family gatherings, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Raymen in 2010; parents Chester and Olive Marshall; brothers Carl, Coen, Junior, Darrel, Dayle, and a sister Eileen Siela.
Mildred is survived by sons Mike Winter (Dee) of rural Robinson, Ed Winter of the home, Alan Winter (Gwen), also of rural Robinson; brother Loyd (Jean) Marshall; sisters: Twila Tabler, Betty Lyon; sister in law Renie Marshall; five grandchildren: Heather Pilcher (Brad), Holly Gantt (Ron), Deborah Taylor (Jason), Heidi Winter (Terry), David Winter (Andi); 11 great-grandchildren; with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Mildred’s life is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Zion United Methodist Church, northeast of Robinson, with Rev. Paul Waters, Rev. Charlie Neill, officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, north of Leona.
Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home after 12 noon until 7 Friday evening. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services at Church.

Heather Michele Kay Deming

Heather Michele Kay Deming 4 month old infant daughter of Michelle Trinidad, passed away Wednesday June 28, 2017 at home. She was born February 20, 2017, St. Joseph. Survivors include her mother, aunts Amber and Carmen, and step grandfather Hugh. Heather has been cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time.
Elizabeth Ann Dawson
1977-2017
Elizabeth Ann Dawson, 40, Cameron, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at a health care facility.
She was born June 19, 1977 to Randy and Gale (Sandridge) Dawson.
Elizabeth enjoyed drawing, making people laugh and visiting with her family.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Caprice Clark; paternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Heath and brother, Robbie.
Survivors include parents; brothers, Richard and Randy David and numerous extended family and friends.
