Mostly sunny with a high near 85

Temperatures will remain near or slightly below average through Thursday. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across central Missouri today, and across northeast Missouri on Wednesday, followed by scattered storms for much of the region Thursday afternoon. No strong or severe storms are expected. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service: 

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday: Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 55.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 79.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58.

Saturday: A chance of showers after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 80.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
