The St. Joseph Police Department is searching for a suspect believed to be involved in a recent string of armed robberies.
Most recently, police responded to the Quick Stop located at 6739 Memorial Highway Wednesday around 9:15 p.m. after a man allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk, demanded money and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The victim reported the suspect as a white man wearing a blue bandanna over his face and sunglasses. No one was injured during the incident.
Capt. Jeff Wilson said detectives are investigating the incident in connection with robberies that took place, Friday at the Cenex located at 1029 Garfield and Sunday at the Hawkins 66 located at 6401 Memorial Highway. No arrests have been made. Authorities have released surveillance photos. Anyone with information is asked to call police or the TIPS Hotline at (816) 238-TIPS.
