A St. Joseph author is planning to donate a portion of her book sales Saturday to the local Lions Club.

Author Caroline Castor and Illustrator Ina Wilson will sign copies of The Gourd Siblings Saturday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Schweizer Orchards.

Castor said the book is a tale of a brother and sister who reap fun and adventure from their decision to plant a field of gourds.

Castor said during the event, a portion of every book sold will go to benefit the Lions Club.
