The St. Joseph Police Department is investigating after shots were fired Sunday at a home on the south side of town.
Capt. Jeff Wilson said officers responded to a report of a drive-by shooting Sunday in the 900 block of W. Valley. Several shots were reportedly fired from a handgun into a home in the area.
Police located numerous casings on the street and bullet holes in the home. Several projectiles were also recovered from inside of the house. Area residents gave different descriptions of vehicles leaving the area. One was a gray mini van the other was a white SUV, possibly a crossover style.
As of Monday morning, Wilson said officers do not have any suspects. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 238-TIPS.
