The Glore Psychiatric Museum is hosting a sleepover with a paranormal investigation in store.
According to a news release, the first “Spend the Night at the Museum” event will be held Saturday, Oct. 7 and a second one will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4. Starting at 3 p.m., participants will learn in-depth about the Glore Psychiatric Museum from museum staff, tour the tunnels, learn about the history of asylums, and participate in a paranormal investigation. Participants are asked to bring their own sleeping bag or air mattress. The Museum will provide dinner, movie entertainment, and breakfast the following morning.
“The Glore Psychiatric Museum has hosted overnight visitors a few times now and it is always an amazing experience for the guests and our staff. So we look forward to sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience with 30 adventurous people each night. We are already busy planning an educational and entertaining experience for our brave guests,” said St. Joseph Museums Executive Director Sara Wilson.
The space is limited to 30 guests for each date and visitors must be at least 18 years of age. The cost is $125 per person, which includes the tour, dinner, a movie, a paranormal investigation, the overnight stay, and breakfast. Paid reservations are required.
