A Bethany man was seriously injured while working in a tractor in a field Wednesday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, shortly after 5 p.m., 59-year-old Ronald D. Graham was driving a 1968 John Deere Tractor and working in a privately owned field near County Road 330, southwest of Bethany. The tractor hit a utility pole, breaking the pole into two pieces, hitting Graham in the face and knocking him unconscious.

Graham was transported by Life Net to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of serious injuries.
